Local Teen Sets New World Record in Long Jump

16-year-old Jessica Harold of Millville, New Jersey, shocked the world yesterday by setting a new world record in the long jump at a high school track and field meet. Her incredible jump of 8.25 meters surpassed the previous record by 0.15 meters. Harold, known for her tireless training and determination, has already won numerous awards, but this record cements her place as one of the most talented young athletes in the world. Harold's coach describes her as "an exceptionally hard-working and dedicated athlete with incredible potential." This victory marked not only a personal achievement but also inspired many young athletes in Millville and beyond. Interviews with Jessica and her coach, as well as video of her record-breaking jump, will be featured later today.
